I would like to give thanks to the staff that helped me with my order last night. I have to eat gluten free and soy free, and the staff showed concern and the cook even came out to check with me to make sure that was the only allergy. With this new allergy issue, eating is very different for me and has me a bit frustrated, but the act of kindness I witnessed last night at El Sombrero was very uplifting. Thank you El Sombrero.

El Sombrero in Longview offers a reliably good Tex-Mex experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal. While the white queso is undeniably a star – rich, smooth, and utterly addictive – the menu offers a wide range of flavorful options. Their enchiladas are well-prepared, and the fajitas arrive sizzling, with tender meat and perfectly cooked vegetables. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. Portions are generous, ensuring you leave satisfied. It's a solid choice for a comforting and enjoyable Tex-Mex meal.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Had grilled shrimp and flan that could compete with creme bulee.. a cake that everyone raved about. Owner visited table to see if we were being taken care of by staff. Yes and with smiles. Will certainly visit again if in Longview. ITwas a dinner out that makes you feel good. Good food good service. Smiles. Oh and very easy access.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Longview by far!! The chips and salsa are super good, especially mixed with their white queso! I always get the enchiladas verde with extra sour cream sauce on the side. I love that the chicken inside is shredded, usually can’t find that anywhere else. The skirt steak is juicy and flavorful, highly recommend the tejanos grande if you’re looking to splurge. The drinks are great, too, very strong!

This Mexican food is the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. The rice and beans were not just meh, but the spices and prep were so good even the usual sides were delicious. Fajita chicken, shrimp, and tamales were standouts. Tamales were the best in town. Margaritas were very good. Wait staff were all friendly and accommodating.

I had a great lunch with a dear friend and we were able to visit and catch up without over intrusive and irritating loud music. The music was at a level we could enjoy. Great food and great service and reasonable prices.

The food is delicious! The serving size is very good. The quesadilla was the best I have ever eaten. It was so cheesy. Homemade and nothing like a food chain restaurant.
